Vector Selfie
Made on Adobe Illustrator, this is a vector image form of myself. It looks like me but.. not. Better and worse at the same time. But I'm happy with the work I did, even though using the new software was a challenge at first. My advice: when making a pen pathway, don't bother with angles, just click pretty much every two millimetres. Just EVERYWHERE.
Minimalist Logo
The challenge was to create a logo design incorporating three shapes. I made a logo for a fake archaeology group (I've just found the field interesting lately). The three shapes in mine are the vase, the chip in the vase, and the hole at the top (apparently the guy counts as a design, not a shape; I'll go with it, more shapes for me). Clay pots and vases are strong and reveal many aspects about a culture, so they are an important object in the field of archaeology. I'm just assuming books are too. I realize that Selphia sounds like selfie, but it's actually a fictional town in the Rune Factory series (to which I claim no rights, btw).
Robotics Poster
Our assignment was to make a poster for a team or event at our school, and since I belong to robotics, I chose that (it was a surprisingly popular poster subject..). The blue icon I incorporated into this poster was designed by Jan Duran, and is considered the official logo of our team as of right now. The circuit board background was made by me in illustrator (I literally just arranged a bunch of lines and shapes on top of a gradient, and adjusted opacity). The information is pretty bare, since our competition is over now, but the team is still running!
